TIME:
Webinars are generally posted by noon Mountain STANDARD time; Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time, so for six months of the year, we are three hours behind the East Coast, two hours behind the Midwest, one hour behind Mountain DAYLIGHT time, and the same time as the West Coast.
E-BOOKS:
When you begin watching the webinar, the e-book will be automatically sent to your registered e-mail address.
Unattached E-BOOK:
Some systems will not allow PDF files through. If you receive an e-mail message that states an e-book is attached, but without an attachment, please e-mail kdix@vpico.com and request the e-book by name and subject, i.e., the HAIs e-book, titled "A Primer on Healthcare-Associated Infections." If the attachment still does not go through, let us know and we can direct you to a Web site where the e-book can be downloaded.
HOW THE REGISTRATION PROCESS WORKS:
Once you register for a webinar, you will receive confirmation of that registration via e-mail. On the day that the webinar becomes available, our system will notify you via e-mail once the webinar is posted online. It will include a link to the webinar within the e-mail. You may also visit www.iceinstitute.com/webinars/home.html and click information for the relevant webinar. If you did not receive confirmation of your registration for this course, that generally means that the e-mail address given was incorrect. That would necessitate correcting the e-mail address at the following link: https://secure.vpico.com/icei/webinars/webinarshop.asp Log in with the INCORRECT e-mail address and correct your personal contact information to include the correct e-mail address.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
Continuing education for these webinars is pending and you will be notified via e-mail when it becomes available.
DOUBLE REGISTRATION:
It does not matter if you have registered for the same webinar more than once. You will still receive notification when the webinar becomes available; it is not necessary to make a correction in our system or remove one of the registrations.
AVAILABILITY:
The webinars will be available on-demand for a full year, which means you can watch it as often as you like, any time of the day or night.
REGISTRATION:
Everyone needs to create an account for the webinars, whether they subscribe to ICT or not. You can create an account at https://secure.vpico.com/icei/webinars/webinarshop.asp
Click the "Create an Account" button on the left side of the page, under the "New Customers" link. Once you have created your account, you can sign up for all the webinars, which is probably easiest. Just click the webinars you would like to view. You will need to click any previous webinars as well, if you wish to view them. Test the system by watching at least part of a webinar, to ensure that your system works with ours. Some people have had problems with downloading the file, or with using older versions of the media player, so it's a good idea to do a trial run before logging in for the next webinar. When you have created your account and checked the webinars you'd like access to, click "Submit" or "OK". Our system will automatically send you a confirmation e-mail. Two things -- make sure you enter your e-mail address correctly both times (we have had bounce-backs from people who misspelled their e-mail addresses); and make sure that our e-mail will be allowed through your firewall. Please make the following addresses and domain "safe senders" in your e-mail account. We have had many messages rejected because the person's workplace would not let e-mails from our domain through. Here are the addresses:
